2023 Strawberry Information

Open again Friday, June 2nd @8:30am. Closing early/ probably by 1pm Friday. We are entering the end of the strawberry season. With the high temperatures that are in the forecast this weekend, the plants will slow down and the strawberry size will decrease. Definitely not the last day, but the season is winding down. Closed Saturday, June 3rd and most likely Sunday.

Regular season hours will vary daily. A typical length of season is at least 6-8 weeks. Times are ALWAYS dependent upon weather and berry availability. Please call ahead  or check this page for daily day-of updates before coming. Weekend hours are not guaranteed, so make plans to come during the week and not wait until the weekends. We have to have lots and lots of berries and staff in order to be open on a weekend day.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to closing time to allow enough time to pick. We look forward to having you all visit us again this year and hope that you all have a great experience visiting the farm.  For further updates and up to date openings and closings be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram. WARNING: If you are in late pregnancy (especially with complications), have had recent surgery, trouble walking, or any other health conditions, it is advisable to not participate in this activity.

*** The strawberries are located at 5331 Baker Road, Murfreesboro Tn 37129. The best contact phone number during the season is 615-605-6494 (seasonal phone# only).***

Our 4 acre berry patch provides the containers for you. There is no need to bring your own baskets, unless you have one from previous uses! Recycling your Batey Berry Basket (BBB) is always encouraged and appreciated for all of us Earth dwellers.  All strawberries will be sold by the pound. You-pick berries are $4 lb. and pre-picked berries are $5/lb. You only pay for what you pick, no parking or entry fees. While our strawberries are delicious and very well cared for,  they are not grown organically.  We accept cash, Venmo and debit/credit cards as method of payment. There is a $5.00 minimum for debit/credit card purchases.  Everyone is welcome to come and pick, but NO PETS ALLOWED for sanitary reasons. It is encouraged that if you already have one of our white gallon baskets (BBB) to recycle them by reusing it each time you come and pick, or returning them to the farm. Please return only clean, and sound baskets. Closed-toed shoes are recommended.

We look forward to having you visit us!
